Solution Overview

Pharmaceutical glass tubes are formed by mould extrusion after high‑temperature melting. Uncontrolled temperature, feed volume and extrusion force frequently trigger mass‑produced defective parts, raising raw‑material costs for manufacturers. If faulty units reach end‑users, poor sealing may cause drug failure and medical incidents.
Targeting these industry pain points, Kerun Vision has developed a vision‑based hot‑end dimensional inspection system for tubular glass containers. It delivers high‑speed, high‑precision measurement to boost overall production efficiency.

Solution Overview

The vial visual inspection system uses 4 cameras to inspect the vial body, neck, base and sealing surface. It targets typical annealing‑process‑related defects including chipping, cracks, stains, air lines, scratches, stones and bubbles. Custom designed optics enable full 360 degree coverage with zero blind zones. Supervised AI deep‑learning technology achieves parameter‑free defect detection.
